Washington State Fair – Spring / Fall
Spring Fair April 2025
April 2025
Spring Fair is a wonderful time for Families to come and enjoy the Fair and the Heritage Center. We will have Rock Painting daily — fun for all ages! Stop by our rock trading garden outside the center to trade a rock and spread joy. Families will be able to view the many Oldfield Original Paintings in the Center as well as the extensive Native Basket Collection and the Dioramas with hundreds of artifacts depicting Fred Oldfield’s life in the Old West. There will also be Music for your listening pleasure. This is the time to visit the Washington State Fair if you like smaller crowds!
Fall Fair September 2025
The Fall Fair is an exciting time at the Center! We have, of course, beautiful Oldfield original paintings for you to enjoy, but we also are honored to have guest artists in residence during the entire run of the Ken Hurley known as the Buffalo Man from Raymond with his watercolors, Lisa Rasmussen from Renton with her whimsical farm animal watercolors Jack Babcock from Auburn with his beautiful Western paintings, John Huntsman from Sumner with his Pastels and Steve Holliday with his gorgeous wildlife photography. There will also be additional guest artists appearing from time to time.
The Center also offers hands-on crafts and rock painting on certain days. The artifacts, native baskets, and dioramas are always available for your viewing pleasure. The Center’s Gift Shop is filled with Oldfield prints, original artwork, and photography, Jack Babcock’s stunning hand-painted Christmas ornaments and gorgeous handmade jewelry. All items in the Gift Shop are handmade by NW Artists. The Washington State Fair is fun for everyone!
