Free Online Art Classes, Lessons & Tips on Facebook

Fred’s Creative Kids #StayHomeStayHealthy online art class

Dear Parents and Students,

We are hoping you are staying well and happy while staying inside to keep healthy. We know that this won’t last forever and that we will be seeing most of you back in the classroom soon. In the meantime, we wanted to make sure you were keeping up with some of your art skills and also just having fun with art!

We are very excited to say that some of our teachers will be posting some art projects, lessons, tips for all of you to enjoy for free. Some of these projects will be repeat exercises, but it is always good to refresh your knowledge of the principals and elements of design.

Please keep in mind that we are a hands-on art school and filming lessons to go online is new to all of us. I think you will see the videos get more exciting and professional with each new one posted. Our filming skills are improving, and Miss Elisa and Miss Rebecca are spending a great deal of time trying to learn researching new ways to bring the classes to you. As you may guess it is difficult with social distancing and them not being able to work together to accomplish this goal.

You will need to go to Facebook and type in Fred’s Creative Kids #stayhomestayhealthy Art Classes.

Then on the right side, you will scroll down to: Groups.

Click on Groups and join the group.

The first video will be Unit 1.

Enjoy all three parts of Miss Elisa’s lessons and stay tuned for a new video every few days.

Please post a picture of your finished pieces of art for everyone to enjoy.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask on Facebook or call us at 253-752-9708.

May you all stay healthy and creative and we will meet at the Center again soon!
