What Our Wonderful Volunteers Have to Say

“I love Volunteering at the Oldfield Heritage Center because it kills boredom, expanded my circle of friends, increased my self-confidence and it just feels really good because I’ve gained a wonderful sense of purpose and accomplishment while sharing my talents and skills. Besides all that it is just plain FUN!”
Mary W.

“I have had the opportunity to meet some of the areas best artists. Furthermore, I have met some wonderful kids who are taking classes at the Center. The artists in so many ways have helped to continue the legacy of Fred Oldfield of teaching the kids art.”
Ken

“Wayne loves hanging out with the guys on Thursday mornings and contributing his skills and knowledge to whatever project needs to be completed. One of my favorite things to volunteer for is the six weeks of kids art camp every summer. I don’t know who has more fun, the kids or I!”
Wayne and Joanne
